iTunes 8 Causes Blue Screen of Death for iPhone Users

Steve promised a lot of cool new features with iTunes 8, but Windows Vista users that upgraded to the new version were in for an unpleasant surprise.
Users on the Apple Discussions running the latest iTunes in both 32-bit and 64-bit versions are reporting getting nothing less then the blue screen of death each time they plug in their iPhone or iPod.
