1. Since when are you programming for the iPhone?
We started developing Speed Forge Extreme in May 2009.
2. Did you program other languages before?
Yes, I did. I am programming mainly in C++, but I have wrote few applications in C#, Java and pure C. I know Ruby, PHP as well. Still C++ is my number one.
3. Is it fun developing for iPhone, if yes why?
Yes, it is a lot of fun! That small devices are really powerful, specially iPhone 3GS. 3D Graphics looks great on the small screen. Besides it is quite refreshing to use accelerometer and multi touch screen.
4. Was the learning curve steep?
Not really. It took us few days to set up a basic framework, but after that programming in C++ and Opengl ES is quite similar to what we used to do on PC.
5. Which app are you working on at the moment?
Currently we are working on a concept of a new game. It is not fully defined as yet, so there is not much I can share.
6. Are you also programming for other mobile devices?
Yes, we do. We are porting Speed Forge Extreme to Android platform. Actually we have made simpler version of Speed Forge Extreme - Speed Forge 3D for Android quite some time ago. It won Android Developer Challenge 2.
7. Anything else you would like to say?
Greetings to all mobile gamers.
