1. Since when are you programming for the iPhone?
Luca: We started developing for the iPhone about 7 months ago as we love our iPhones but we thought it would be nice to have some apps written by us on them!
2. Did you program other languages before?
Luca: Programming on the iPhone from scratch is not easy at all. I’ve been focusing on client-side web development languages, such as XHTML, Javascript, CSS and recently PHP. My background includes also bits of Java + JSTL and C/C++.
3. Is it fun developing for iPhone, if yes why?
Luca: It’s challenging, but yes it’s fun. the iPhone is the most innovative platform of the last few years and developing for it, opens so many new opportunities that is just amazing fun for us developers to experiment with it
4. Was the learning curve steep?
Luca: I believe the learning curve is still steep - there is always something new and challenging to learn about iPhone development.
5. Which app are you working on at the moment?
Luca: we are tuning the last bits of our next game, called “Pidgey”. news and preview are available on our website: http://www.iphonky.com/pidgey.php
6. Are you also programming for other mobile devices?
Luca: not at present, but we can’t exclude this in the future!
7. Anything else you would like to say?
Cheers
