Yesterday, I took some time out to upgrade to Leopard, install the iPhone SDK, and write a basic iPhone app. My feeling about Leopard is something between indifference and irritation. But since Leopard rants are passé now, I will talk about the iPhone SDK instead.
For a first iPhone project, I decided to port the Cocoa Texas Solitaire game I wrote a few years ago to the iPhone. This is a simple video poker-style game based on a card game that Sam invented. Overall, things went pretty smoothly.
