iPhone OS 3.1.3 is out in the wild - battery improvement
Apple just release iTunes 9.0.3 which includes the new iPhone OS 3.1.3.
The update is quite minor and doesn’t hint for a new iPhone in the near future. It reports to improve the accuracy of the reported battery level on iPhone 3GS. Unfortunately not the battery drainage problems some users report when activating push-mail. iPhone OS 3.1.3 resolves and issue where third-party apps wouldn’t launch in some instances. And last but not least, it fixes a bug that may cause an app to crash when using the Japanese Kana keyboard.
In the Apple forums you can find reports of users that have more space usage in iTunes now, with a solution posted by user wjosten.

Navigon MobileNavigator Europe + North America 1.4.0 arrives with the first snow today
Brussels, Robin Bollen // Dec 17, 2009
The first snow is falling, the holidays are starting and as a consequence there will be lot of traffic on the snowy slippery European roads in the coming weeks. Did you change to winter tires already? Accidents and big traffic jams are likely to happen, so make sure to pack along with your skis, your iPhone charged with Navigon MobileNavigator and its fantastic traffic feature.
Like reported earlier, several other local EU editions are already in version 1.4.0, and the full Europe edition was the last one still stuck in version 1.3.0.
From this morning on, it is finally possible for you premium payers to upgrade too. Just as a reminder, here is the complete list (with my personal comments) of the 13 new features and 1 update.
When there is a feature(s) still not in the app that you eagerly want please drop me a comment!

GPS turn-by-turn apps war :: PosiMotion Navmii for iPhone & iPod touch in store now
Brussels, Robin Bollen // Nov 30, 2009
Tele Atlas, which currently provides Map data to iPhone applications like, TomTom, Sygic and NDrive, is teaming up with Geolife to deliver yet another Turn-by-Turn Voice Guided GPS application for the iPhone and iPod Touch, PosiMotion Navmii UK, version 1.1.
I know, the iPod Touch (and the 1G/2G iPhone) does not have an integrated GPS receiver chip build-in, you might think. So did Geolife and has solved this issue different than TomTom and Magellan. They have manufactured what they call, the PosiMotion G-Fi box, the world’s first mobile network / GPS router. This box is sold separately for $99 while supplies last.

Ndrive goes Aerial Sat GPS navigation Berlin and Munich
Porto based NDrive is releasing 2 more Aerial Sat GPS city apps. Following the big cities London, Rome, New York, LA and Brussels, 2 big german cities are added to the App Store: Ndrive Berlin and Ndrive Munich.
And that for only $3.99 (Munich) and $4.99 (Berlin), you have sat navigation in your pocket unlike google maps, where you are dependent on you data connection and speed. This is a ridiculous low price. I wish I had it already last month when I visited the fantastic city Berlin.
This app works also very well in pedestrian mode. Here are some screens;

Ndrive goes Aerial Sat GPS navigation Brussels - EU ministers have no excuse to arrive late anymore
Brussels, Robin Bollen // Nov 25, 2009
These guys are unstoppable, just when I thought I could take a break from reporting about NDrive, they have released another iPhone GPS app. In the same style as the London release, with the Aerial map info from Blom, the Norwegian firm that makes Sat maps. This is truly a revolutionary product.

Google is trying to do the same with street view, but NDrive is the first to deliver real Sat images in combination with Turn-by-Turn GPS navigation. Seeing is believing. Just when I start the app, and I see already my street and building is breath-taking. Even google maps does not show my apartment, because it is only a few years old. On google maps you only see the construction area from the first year of construction.
I will take this baby for a ride though the capital of Europe in the coming days and will promise you a nice review. The price is a steal: 4,99 euros!
Here is the full report of NDrive Brussels, which our friends of NDrive have mailed us;

Brussels, Robin Bollen // Nov 19, 2009
While I am writing this exciting news, I am downloading the 1.60 GB update of TomTom version 1.2. We have announced the App Store submission here last week, but at that moment not all the details of the upgrade were already given by TomTom.
What we already knew was that they included technologies like; Text-To-Speech, Lane Road Indication, iPod integration, Emergency Menu, Updated Maps & Radar and customizable alerts.
What we did not know is the following.

Navigon MobileNavigator 1.3.0 Europe released
Brussels, Robin Bollen // Nov 04, 2009
To my big surprise, I saw in my iTunes updates this morning, that the new release of MobileNavigator has arrived. A lot of people are waiting for this version, they bought the more expensive Europe app and were not first served with the new update. First the editions of DACH, Benelux, Nordics, France and Britsh Isles were released in 1.3.0.
The most important new feature is the Traffic Live service, which is a separate “In App” purchase. This service is available for A, B, D, DK, F, FIN, N, NL and S. Other updates are UK Postcode Navigation, which is also an “In App Purchase”. Furthermore some minor things like Enhanced map area search after destination input and the possibility to launch the app in landscape mode now.

Fixing iPhone error 13019 when syncing with iTunes 8.2:Resolution
Please update to iTunes 9. If updating to iTunes 9 does not resolve the issue, please continue:
The error will most commonly occur while syncing music. This issue can be resolved by following these steps:
1.Select the iPhone or iPod touch in iTunes under Devices.
2.Click the Music tab and under the Sync music option, choose Selected playlists.
3.Deselect the Voice Memos playlist.
4.Click Apply and then click Sync.
If the above steps do not resolve the issue, check the device and the iTunes library for duplicate voice memos. If you find any duplicate voice memos, delete the duplicates and then sync.
If those steps do not resolve the issue, then follow these steps:
1.Select the iPhone or iPod touch in iTunes under Devices.
2.Click the Music tab and deselect the Sync Music option.
3.Click Apply and then click Sync.
4.After the sync is complete, reselect the Sync Music option.
5.Click Apply and then click Sync.
If the Error 13019 occurs while syncing content other than music (applications, podcasts, and so on), then perform the same steps above but uncheck the content that stops syncing with Error 13019.
If the steps above do not resolve the issue, attempt to sync an empty iTunes music library to the device while logged in as a new admin user. Follow these steps to create a new admin user:
