It seems as if Apple dodged a bullet. Ever since the Steve Jobs press conference a couple of weeks ago, in which Apple offered free carrying-case bumpers (or full refunds) to anyone whose iPhone 4 exhibited the “signal drops when you hold the phone a certain way” problem, the jeering and mockery online seems to have gone into hibernation.

A new, free little Windows app by Matthew Allen called PhoneAble does exactly one thing for iPhone owners: it enables them to manage the music on their device from any Windows computer with iTunes installed.
It does this by changing the computer’s iTunes key—which is unique to each installation of iTunes—to match the key of your iPhone. This tricks iTunes into thinking that the phone plugged in via USB is one it’s allowed to edit. It’s simple, and that’s why it’s good.

Many have asked if the square on the centre of the dashboard can be used to mount a SatNav or TV screen. While this mod doesn’t exactly do that, it shows you what you can potentially do around that area! I ended up mounting closer to the vents as I can’t see the small screen that well mounting on the flat square part.
