A new year brings a new iPhone, which is for sure when Apple sticks to its current iPhone release cycle. To sum up the releases of the iPhone;
iPhone 4GB / 8GB June 29 2007
iPhone 8GB/16GB Feb 05 2008
iPhone 3G 8GB/ 16 GB July 11 2008
iPhone 3G S 16GB/32GB June 19 2009
There is one date that stands out from the others and that is Feb 05 2008, with the storage increase of the original iPhone to 16GB after the 4GB has been discontinued in September 2007. If the current rumors of the iPhone 3G S 8GB edition are true, then this year we can have again a double iPhone release. Around February the lower storage version, to put prices down even further, and in the summer the iPhone ‘4 G’.
