ALK Technologies Ltd, has updated 7 of their editions in the Apple App Store. The Europe edition has already been face lifted to version 8.0.0.417 last month.

The editions that were updated yesterday are Benelux, D-A-Ch, France, Iberia, Italia, Nordics and UK & Ireland. Only the lastest North America edition has a different version number (8.0.0.421) but it is a different product due to the map technology used.

One thing that slipped our attention is that an edition for Australia and New Zealand has been released the 9th this month called Australasia.

It is difficult to keep abreast of newly emerging applications in the App Store for iPhone. Also, browse through iTunes by the application code is at times cumbersome.

To make this task easier, Apple has updated its website with a guide on the applications for the iPhone. It is divided into several categories, like iTunes, but the navigation is more agile. Each day, they make recommendations on the latest apps and there is even a section with favorite applications from Apple employees.

The last update of the Turn-by-Turn GPS iPhone application of Sygic Mobile Maps is now available on the App Store. This latest edition is version 7.71.4 and affects all regional editions of the application: Europe, Brazil, Russia, UK & Ireland, U.S., America, Australia & New Zealand and SE Asia.
