Semiconductor Insights went out and bought an Iphone and immediately started to take it apart.
It compares components in the Ipod and the Iphone, including Samsung NAND flash memory. The phone has three RF components including an Apple part and a CSR Bluetooth device.
Google CEO Eric Schmidt is a very smart guy. He’s is also absolutely giddy over his new iPhone. As a member of Apple’s board of directors, Schmidt got his very own iPhone and is anxious to show people. In this video (found via iPhone Alley), Schmidt shows off his iPhone at the World Economic Forum.

What is a bit strange is that the time on the iPhone is always 9:42 AM, while it shows the emails are last updated at 12:55 PM the same day on the bottom.
Everyone and his mother are trying to imitate the iPhone UI behaviour and looks. Apple is starting a UI revolution again, now on the mobiles.
I really doubt that people go for these imitations. Maybe for the life-span of their current phone but after that the temptation to buy the real product will cashin for Apple.
100 Million iPods sold, while there never has been so much competition, think about that.
