We turned the corner and ran into what had to be one of the best looking and coolest booths at CES. Skullcandy had their entire line of products out for us to see but gave us a special sneak peak to what they are planning to release in 2008.

SDI Technologies, the company behind the iHome series of affordable iPod audio systems, is not surprisingly embracing both iPods and iPhones in 2008, as well as Microsoft’s Zune line of portable media devices. SDI is showing off several new products at CES, including an L-shaped alarm clock for the iPod and iTouch (as well as other iPod models) that allow you to change the orientation of the unit so you can watch videos, “while the clock display rotates accordingly to complement the position of the unit.”

iPod accessory-maker JBL on Monday launched several new speaker systems, adding support for Apple’s new iPod touch and iPhone.
The first update is with JBL’s On Stage. The On Stage IIIP system is compatible with the iPhone and all dockable iPods. The system comes with an IR remote for iPod track selection, menu navigation and volume control, and it also includes a mini stereo jack for use with non-iPhone/-iPod devices. The new On Stage can be used with AC power or batteries.

There aren’t many (if any) sounds systems available for the iPhone just yet, but that will soon change in the coming year.
