Techlogg.com has released a new update for its free ToneShop software that now creates ringtones in the correct format for Apple’s iconic iPhone.
The software allows you to create audio phrases from your favourite WAV, MP3 and WMA files and turn them into .m4r ringtones that can be sync’d to your iPhone via iTunes.

iPhone customers who use Lotus Notes at work won’t be left out anymore with a new offering from Sybase iAnywhere.
Sybase iAnywhere is set to announce on Tuesday that it is adding support for the iPhone in its Information Anywhere Suite, initially only for e-mail. That means that companies using Lotus Notes will be able to securely push e-mail messages to iPhone users.

Last week, the BBC launched an iPhone-friendly version of its iPlayer video-on-demand service. It wasn’t long before some crafty iPlayer users figured out a way to exploit the new service, though. The exploit allowed users to download DRM-free versions of iPlayer content and keep a copy on their computers, which the BBC was none to happy about.

Avaya is demonstrating the iPhone version of its one-X Mobile client at Cebit, but company officials have not yet decided whether to use the upcoming SDK from Apple to enhance the application.
